Tanker Safety Network

The BIMCO Tanker Safety Network aims to strengthen safety performance across the tanker industry by providing a structured platform where safety professionals can share insights, discuss emerging challenges and collectively improve operational standards.

The network supports safety enhancement in core areas such as the human element, tanker specific subjects including SIRE 2.0 inspection practices, among others.

Its purpose is to cultivate open dialogue, reduce operational risk, and align members around evolving regulatory and technical expectations—ultimately contributing to safer tanker operations worldwide.

The people behind the success

As a member of the BIMCO Tanker Safety Network, you are part of BIMCO’s volunteer community. In a forever-changing shipping industry, BIMCO could not have achieved its high level of insight and knowledge without the support of qualified and knowledgeable people with hands-on experience from shipping’s daily operations.

We believe in the power of togetherness.
