Our Digital team is looking for an experienced technical sales manager. The team helps drive the shipping industry towards the digital transformation by offering products such as SmartCon, our contract editing platform, and Ship PI, our benchmarking industry tool for defining, measuring, and improving operational performance. We keep developing these products to ensure they are intuitive and using state of the art technology
In this role, you will be responsible for selling Ship PI, as well as supporting sales of other digital products such as SmartCon and additional maritime software offerings. You will play a pivotal part in helping maritime stakeholders optimize workflows, enhance compliance , and solve real business challenges through BIMCO’s digital products. If you’re passionate about technology, the maritime industry, and building strong customer relationships, this role is for you.
What you'll do
- Sell BIMCO’s digital products to new and existing customers
- Deliver product demos and understand customer needs
- Build and manage your sales pipeline using Microsoft Business Central CRM
- Identify new business opportunities and close deals
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive product improvements.
You are someone who...
- Has strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Preferably experience from the maritime industry
- Has experience from a previous role with technical sales
- Has a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Feels confident working independently and in a team
- Enjoys building trust and long-term customer relationships.
